A Fantastic Wedding!

Awesome .... Incredible ....  Phenomenal .... these words just don't seem big enough to describe a wedding we went to recently.  Carra and Robert got married at Union Ave. Baptist Church and then had a fantastic reception at Minglewood Hall.

With at least 10 bridesmaids (maybe more!) and an equal number of Groomsmen this wedding was NOT lacking one bit in support of family and friends.  At the rehearsal dinner almost every single one of them explained in great detail about how special this couple was and how positively they had affected their lives.  When Dad got up to talk about his daughter you could feel the power of love in the room, which quickly broke into laughter as he presented Robert with a new wardrobe of Memphis T-Shirts in a tongue in cheek attempt to get the couple to move a little closer to home.

The wedding day although lavish in design was simple with the girls doing each other's makeup and hair, and the boys watching the PGA Championship and Nascar.  The designs were beautiful, the colors elegant, and the brides dress was stunning.  However, no one doubted for a second that this couple needed anything other than their love for each other.

The ceremony went off without a hitch, with both mothers' eyes streaming tears of joy.  The room was electric as the bride walked down the aisle with her father in a moment they had both dreamed of for a lifetime.  The sweetest moment of the ceremony came when the Minister pronounced the new couple husband and wife, and let Robert know that he could now kiss the bride.  After a beautiful kiss Robert leaned in and kissed Carra on the forehead.  The gesture showed his love and caring spirit and the whole sanctuary was assured that this marriage would last forever.

The reception had an awesome band from lower Alabama.  The band brought the funk and fun to the party for sure.  The Bride and Groom were introduced from behind the stage and proceeded into the most epic first dance I have every witnessed!  These two loved having fun with each other and they were some comfortable with themselves that no one else in the room seemed to matter.  The Bride and her father were quickly joined by the rest of her family on the dance floor, and the groom and his mother cut quite a rug!

The reception had food and fun from all different icons of Memphis and the guests from near and far enjoyed quite the party!  When it was all over the bride and groom waited to leave until they could thank their parents and share a special goodbye before exiting through their family and friends who were armed handful after handful of confetti!  As their Taxi Limo left the parking lot everyone had a warm feeling in their heart of the magic of love that they had witnessed that day!  Thank you to the Bride and Groom for letting us be a small part of their wedding day, and for offering us the opportunity to capture such loving moments on video!

DentSim Dental Simulator

Last week we LiveStreamed 3 days of coverage for Dentsim a Dental Simulator at
the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in Memphis, TN.  Dr. Scott Hollis spent those three days telling clients around the world about the positive aspects of teaching on a DentSim unit.  It was incredibly interesting to see how the unit worked and how the students benefitted from the hands on training.

Above is a quick video we did to kind of wrap up the week for them.  Hope you enjoy!
